Dilapidation inspections report on the condition of a property recording any existing damage, issues, or state of certain areas of the property that could be affected by excavation, construction, or demolition.

Dilapidation Reports protect the property owner, builder, project manager or developer with the written report provided with photographic evidence so the contractor involved cannot be falsely accused with any construction works.

During the inspection we will document the current condition of the property including areas which may be prone to damage.
This includes (but is not limited to)

• Cracks to internal walls, cornices, and ceilings
• Water damage to floors, walls, cornices, and ceilings
• Cracks in brickwork
• Road surfaces, nature strips, kerb, and adjoining footpaths
• Deterioration of roofs, gutters, downpipes and other external fixtures or features.
• Outbuildings, garages, carports, sheds, pergolas,
  and fencing
• Retaining Walls

The survey is provided as a final report which includes detailed photographs and a written component. By engaging Red Dog Property Inspections, you will be provided with an independent report which does not hold any bias towards either party.

Our Dilapidation Inspections are conducted by Registered Building Practitioners and ready within 24 hours of the completed inspection.
